HISTORY AND PURPOSE
The museum is the result of the transformation of an old quarry of building material which had been created three tunnels used as a shelter during the Second World War. In 1980 the galleries were set up by miners who have played in a realistic indoor environment of a mine. The museum runs for about 700 meters, through secondary and main galleries where you can see different types of armor placed in hold times, with documentation of the different techniques of extracting the mineral. Also on display are a number of working tools, machinery and cars still in use until a few years ago. The museum is accessible only to the accompaniment of a guide provided in the price of admission. At the museum, home to one of the doors of the Archaeological Park of the Metalliferous Hills and Technology,

The ticket is a store with publications on mining history and archeology. At the book store you can also purchase reproductions, cards and gifts of various kinds.
